The [postoptin] shortcode gives you the option to place a opt-in form anywhere in your wordpress posts or pages.

You can easily insert it into a post or page by clicking the Button within your WordPress Post Editor Toolbar.

Inside the Content Optin Section within the WordPress Customizer you can define the global default settings for using the shortcode.

If you just use the [postoptin] shortcode, without any additions it will use these default settings.

You have the following Options

Using the Shortcode

But you can as well customize the output of the shortcode if you add some parameters to it.

The parameters you can use are the following:

headline=”“
[postoptin headline="Your custom headline"] You can use a complete custom value for the headline
text=”“
[postoptin text="Your custom text"] You can use a complete custom value for the text
cta=”“
[postoptin cta="Your custom CTA"] You can use a complete custom value for the text of the call to action button
animate=”“
[postoptin animate="yes"] or [postoptin animate="no"]
form=””
[postoptin form="12345"] If your email marketing provider supports funneling subscribers into different forms you can use this parameter to specify the form ID you want to save subscribers to.

To use a parameter simply add it inside the shortcode itself like this: [postoptin parameter="value"]where the parameter is one of the named (headline, text, cta or animate) and the value is whatever you like.

Here is an example of a highly customized use of the [postoptin] shortcode:[postoptin headline="Your custom headline" text="Your custom text" cta="Your custom CTA" animate="no"]

The output of this example shortcode would look like this:
