The growtheme comes with two custom widgets.

You can find your widgets inside your wordpress admin panel by choosing “Appereances” » “Widgets” from the menu.

To install a widget you simply need to move it from the left side (where all available widgets are shown) to the right side into the sidebar (where your currently used widgets are shown)

You can choose from these two custom widgets:

Sticky Widget

The Sticky Widget is a opt-in form that “flows” always on top of your sidebar when a visitor scrolls down your blog posts.

You have the option to set a custom headline for the sticky widget

If you want to offer a bonus for subscribers you can link to an attachment url. This way a Download Button to the attachment will be shown on the Confirmation or Thank You Page.

About Widget

The about widget is a simple widget that presents the main author of the blog, along with a profile picture and a twitter follow button.

Tip

The profile image it uses is the gravatar image of the main wordpress admin user. You can change your Gravatar Image registering on gravatar.com using the same email you use with your wordpress installation.

You can set up a custom headline for the widget

You can edit the custom text for the widget and link for example to a larger about page.

If you have several wordpress users, you can choose which users avatar to show, or if you want to hide the avatar image completely.

You can choose if you want to show or hide the twitter follow button.

Note

If you haven’t set up a twitter username in the Growtheme general-options no follow button will be shown.
